not quite, they're just silver, lol

it's actually 169.99 but it's in really good shape and full grown. I don't know why else it would be that much. We had three but we're down to one.


And now we're also out of rainbows and we're down to one red and one of my coworkers bought the golden cobra.
 
that's not a bad price for adult pulcra, Juvies are cheaper tell your co-worker if he grows tired of the Golden cobra to drop me a line, devon_75@hotmail.com. I have a pair of them and always open for more!
 
I want a channa pulchra to go with my silver arowana... cant get them in ontario though.. its not fair..ill have to see if i can get one shipped here..:(

Channa Pulchra = Sub tropical
Arowana = Tropical.

Arowana will destroy the Pulchra.

osteoglossum, grows four times bigger than a pulchra, the channa will be a breakfast snack

No good idea mixing tropical and subtropical animals.
 
I dont know if i totally agree with the arowana eating the pulchra.. and they reach 4ft if you have like a 500G tank.. they usually stay about 2ft-3ft... and live with oscars and cichlids that arent even half their size..and the temp stays about 72.. the snakehead is pretty hardy fish? and would adapt??? but it doesnt matter i wont be able to find one... but i see snakeheads and arowanas together... look on youtube
 
But you know more about snakeheads then me.. i just think they are really cool and would love to have one.. maybe ill wait till my arowana is out of the 3' tank and then could i keep like bleheri or/and pulchra?
 
Pulcra will survive in warmer tanks, but wont look as nice or be as healthy,

bleheri and pulcra both are sub tropical but the pulcra will quickly outgrow and eat the bleheri, pulcra grow larger then most sites list them 11"+ and would easily gulp down even the biggest bleheri

but to save you alot of trouble ontario is the one place in canada where it's illigal to own snakeheads, so you dont have to worry about it, sorry bud
 
Yeah i know.. sucks.. i have no idea why.. ontario is so stupid when it comes to that kind of stuff.. we are so protected from everything.. pitbulls snakeheads... not all pitbulls are killers.. the dog is a reflection of the owner..if the owner is mean and aggressive the dog will be mean and agressive. and why the heck would they make a FISH illegal.. its beyond me..whats next cant cross the street inless we are holding our moms hand?
