Endis usually get larger than most Bichirs, so I've heard anyway, so if you're new to Bichirs I'd go with the Delhezi.

If you have a big enough tank I'd just get both dude.

delehzi is nice if you got a smaller tank
endlicheri is will be your living room masterpiece and it looks the best

It's important to make up your own mind on these things because it all depends on what YOU will be happy with.

Can you handle a poly that will get 30"+? If not, a smaller Del is still an awesome bichir, albeit in a smaller package. Plus there is a lot of variation in delhezi pattern so you can search for one that fits your taste.
