I struck Gold...

Do they have a tendency to turn dark when stressed out, trying to breed, etc? I've heard that they will often go dark and stay dark in captivity. Has anyone found this to be true? It will be very interesting to get updates on youre group. That's a great pick up.

So far too of the younger ones, the black faded so they are almost 98% yellow! Some of the bigger ones stayed the same and some faded black a little but i think it has to do with the water chemistry. I noticed the more brown and soft i make the water the happier they seem.

Heres a pic of one that is almost completly yellow! When it first arrived it has some black patches in the middle of its body, its almost all gone and only the tips of the fins are black now.:headbang2
