Works perfectly fine! Here are images. Please note, it's still priming, and it's been 3 days since last modification. per research, usually it takes about a week to prime it, instead of couple of days per mfg. instructions. nonetheless, it's producing bubbles AND FOAM in freshwater tank. I've added 100ml(what you see inside third outer cylinder container) of purigen that is additionally sucking up stuff. Kinda neat since you can visually see the rate it is delpeting.
After much fidgeting around, it only took prefilter, cut at about two inches and setting the speed at about 1/4 of the way in the second inner tube.
