I think i know the answer but might as well ask

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i guess no too ...

may be frantosa but no way with African cichlids those small little devils lol

i think the best think for Aros is a long empty tank just Aros ...

yeah, if the tank was big enough it might be okay. either the arowana or the fronts will have to adapt to water quality their not used to though.

no because size difference and parameter preferences of each fish. sorry :(

Ive had to place my 8" silver with my Moba colony temporarily due to aggression with no problems. It was in there for almost 1 month and eating well.The arowana made good use of the upper portion of the tank, as the Fronts usually stayed low-mid regions.

Besides the obvious differences in parameter requirements for the two, I wouldnt recommend this as some Fronts are brutal/territorial and could easily kill the arowana.

Cheers=)

How odd:confused:, I came to this site to post down the exact same question. Seems like you beat me first to it.:) I would also like to know this as I have acquired an interest in Fronts and would like to obtain a couple of them. I am getting my 240 gal in 3 weeks so I shouldn't have any space trouble.
I've seen it done in one of my relative's tank and they seem fine but I want to know other people's opinion.

Sorry Andy if I stole the thread.

i just spoke to a MFK' person about this last night.. he said the arow that he saved was in with 10 frontosa.. the arow was beaten up ...fins shredded... the only thing i can think is arows like to rest on the bottom of the tank and i think this is when cichlids{fronts} nipped at him each night.. in my opinion they don't go together..but after seeing this arow i am totally convinced..i have big adonis pleco in with my arow and synodontis.. no problem at all for 6 years.. but cichlids i can see nipping etc..
