You really cant keep top water fish or midwater fish with jardini due to their claims on territory. A jardini should, and I say should be ok with a bottom dweller or two that can hold their own just in case.

And they does not tolerate any tankmates at all. They get beaten up, killed or eaten. So the jardinis are going alone in the aqvarium. One of the jardinis did even eat a 4" pleco! that is not the easiest meal to get down.

are your Jardinis in separate tanks? I watched a little 3" Jard beating up on its other 3" brothers at the LFS. I've never seen any large jards together. Just curious if that has ever been done? ;)

Im sure its been done. I have a 14 incher for sale now that has never bothered his tank mates at all, but he is definatly the top fish in the tank.

I have my jardini`s are in separate tanks. i have one that is 14", and one that is 20". So i dont want to try to put them together.
I now a person that have 6 aro`s together. He has 2 silver aro, 1 green aro, 1 chili red aro and 2 jardini aro. this is going well.
If you want to have large jardini`s together, you need to have 6 or moore.

Hey Sescil, definitely get a solo tank for that jardini or mix it with tankmates you
can afford to lose. Jardinis are very agressive and they dont tolerate tankmates very well.

:iagree:
