I have a pair of Johanna's in with PBass and Rays. Here are some pics of what you can expect them to look like when full grown.

beautiful pikes, kolewolf; absolutely beautiful!!!!!! I hope mine look as good as yours. what is your recipe for success, and what is the size of your tank? Mine are going in a 300 78x24x36T. Do you have any pics of your tank?

Both of yours look like they are the "peru" variant!!!
I had one at about 13's and he was say plain i shipped his butt out of here!!!
It would make sense that they were Peruvian. They came Wc from that area.
They are in a 250G custom....78x32x25. No recipe for success, just feeding them Tilapia fillet and Prawns, lots of water changes and aggressive tankmates.

Do anyboby have any suggestion for any tankmates for these pikes; those that will cover all area of my tank (Bottom, middle (which i think i got covered

My 5" GT did fine with the pikes he was housed with. Pikes mostly swim on the bottom so long as the fish cant fit in their month it can work out. Youll have to play with tank mates tho cause it really depennds on the fish.
