Ok, I think I'm flippin crazy but I'm just not feeling the planted tank thingy. I mean, i really like the tank and i think ive been pretty successful since its my first planted tank, but i just dont think i have the time for one right now.

I dont know if i wanna tear the whole thing down and sell everything or keep trotting along. In fact, i kind of feel like downsizing on most of my tanks. i only have 4 running but the maintenance makes it seem like a chore more than a hobby.

So, what do you guys think, am i crazy? anybody wanna buy my 55g complete setup??? :naughty: :naughty:

You can start housing and breeding brig snails and sell them (permits required).;)

K.I.S.S ;) If maintenance is a chore... then you are doing it too often;) JUST MY OPINION PEEPS ;)

well i just do weekly water changes, 50% on all tanks. it seems like it takes FOREVER on a saturday morning :nilly:

maybe get rid of one or two tanks?

yeah thats what i was thinking. but the two that i like the most are the ones that involve the most work; my 210 and the 55 planted!!! the other two are cake

are you crazy man?!! i think if you are going to down size..il keep the planted tank. and if you cant be stopped...im looking for a CO2 system LOL NO, but seriously, id keep the "aqua forrest" place it in the living room or by the door or something. i know this hobby can take its toll, but WC for for me is kinda therapeutic(did i spell that right?heh) i do daily 100% WC on two discus tanks and work in a fish store....i even think of fish while sleeping LOL

What I would do is sell everything except for the 210 gallon and put all your money and time into that tank and perfect what you have.

I sold my 75 gallon tank because having that and a 29 was getting a bit to much to enjoy. Now I have one tank and it feels allot better. I will be upgrading to a 50 gallon and then I will sell my 29 gallon.

It's good to have one tank if more than that isn't making you happy. Then pouring money into one tank instead of a bunch of tanks feel more rewarding and less stress.

Getting more tanks and setting them up is fun and when the hobby gets control you can't stop until something make you realize that you did a little too much for what makes you feel happy with in the long run.

I use to have lots of different animals at one time, it's nice to have but the work you have to do to keep everything is just too much sometimes, especially when your just not in the mood to mess with them all but it needs to be done.

Now I just keep 1 cat, 1 dog and 1 fish tank and it's much less stressful.

You made it this far on your equipment, keep one growing green!
