thats how i got them calm down brother ;)////they were given to me for free because they were so beaten up and the fins wont grow back at least not yet anyway

Is her fins getting eaten by other fish or is it nitrate posioning? From the looks of it you need to start some tank maitenance

If You have Had her a while the fins should have healed unless hard ray damage.Mine heal in a couple days usually

What temperature is it stable at?
Also, what fish do you have in there, tank size, water parameters, etc...

You may want to separate some of those fish as they all look pretty beat on, lots of split fins etc...

its set at 78deg and i have 5 barred midas in with them its a 55gal ph is at 7.4

Separate the FH's from the Midas and let them fast / heal. Don't feed the pot bellied fish for 3 days to a week and do smaller water changes more frequently if they get that dirty, and use the salt as mentioned before. I think that fish cant **** without getting nailed by the tankmates. Her fins should have shown some improvement in a week or 2, that fish is probably freaking out with stress.

Or I could be wrong don't know without seeing how they act when your not looking.

i did the epson salt trick and she $#!TED A lot

Hows she doing now? Is the bloat gone, was she plugged up? If you have any updated pics I like to see her again.

dude i went threw your gallery, and let me say this you have entirely to many MIDAS everywhere. if you do understand this fish species, then you would know that they are scrappers. just wait to the day those midas in with the FHs get bigger then the FHs, it will be a very very hard life for the FHs. if i was you i would separate the midas from the FHs.
