Guys, they're going in for sure. It everyone's great input from this forum that made me take this long. Hate to say it but even other's failures can be learned from. It's all good.

$3.78 per bag. Washed about a gallon at a time in a 5 gal bucket with one hand mixing it around. It was muddy as you can see from the empty bag but very easy to rinse off. 15 minutes max for two bags. Didn't even cloud up the tank. Please don't ask how heavy because I don't know.

Homemade Ultima with a bunch of different medias. Wave pump @3000gph. Overkill and the reason why the sand got blown around and suck away. Just experimenting with a closed system this time.
Got a new UV lamp coming out and may hook it up to this tank for kicks. 50mJ is the normal UV dose but this one is a lot higher. Still designing a control so the dose can be varied to target certain pathogen. Not that I need to kill bugs in my tank but 75% of my hobby interest is in the equipment. I know...geek.
