For the past three weeks i have noticed the sharks breeding ... now for the past 9 days one of them is not eating... holding her/his mouth almost closed with a space between the lips .. i have heard they are mouth brooders... so now i am really excited putting two and two together... one big problem i am facing if this is indeed the reason for the fish going off food then there is nothing stopping the other parent from eating the fry as soon as they are spit from the parents mouth.. so i am thinking of putting up a divider between the two.. putting small little caves for baby catfish to hide...
i just do not know what else to do.. anyone have any ideas..i cannot separate into a different tank as this is full marine tank and the only set up i have for brackish fish.... wow i would be the first one to have babies in captivity... Columbian SharkCatFish had the eggs... i never saw eggs.. must have put them in the mouth right away....

i will get some pics later...
