I think mine is just so super happy in my tank that it can't hold it back and be as subtle about it's happiness like most other fish :ROFL: Afterall, he's growing like a weed and is fairly plump! :)

Seriously though your question intrigued me and a quick google search made me realize it depends heavily on the angle of the photo and the lighting, but it seemed that some had it noticeably and others didn't (if comparing a photo at the same angle).

these pics aren't good at all but I'll get in there with some food and a macro lens later tonight and get some good ones of the holy insignia.
The blurry pic I included just because it shows the cross well, it's not as well formed of a cross as yours but it's yellow....different ranks I guess...

That's cool, I like the way yours has more of a stylized cross. Maybe we're uncovering some sort of delhezi secret society a la illuminati? :grinno:
 
it may be somthing that you pointed out that weve never noticed before, because i see a cross on my delhezi too, but yours is still unique because the cross on yours i s very bold and contrasts with the rest of the head so it stands out and is alot more visible
