I think my Dovii is sad....

mine at 4" still looks young hahaha.
i'm fattening him up though.
 
I had my share of bland dovii.. my LFS gets them in at 2-3" for $4.99. I went through several there. I got an awesome female from there but the male I had at 5.5" was still real bland. A freak accident wiped out that tank (now my wife knows not to let the kids clean the glass). This time I wanted a really nice male Dovii. This guy came from Jeff Rapps at TUIC, it's an F1. I couldn't be happier with him, they blew my expectations away.
 
I know what you mean! I went thru 3 males before I ordered my male from Conkel, then went thru another 3 before I realized how much nicer mine was then all the others! It was right under my nose and I never knew it!
