Sorry to hear that, my condolences. I would say figure out everything that went wrong and do some research before getting another one. Multiple diseases mean multiple issues. I think he had swim bladder issues mostly because of the constipation, may be because of the overfeeding or high protein diet. Itch was most probably result of stress.

I think it was the diet. I tried getting dither fish for some movement and within 3 days he ate 16 bueno Aires tetras and 4 giant danios. Way to much protein. I won't make that mistake again. So much for the advise from pet chain stores
