This is just my personal experience. I used to keep 2 juvinile O's in a 55 gallon tank before I knew any better. They were just fine until they hit the 6 inch mark and then became aggressive towards each other. I bought a second 55 gallon setup to house the other O and moved one to the other tank. (It's really hard to find good used large tanks in Nebraska) I finally found a 125 gallon tank in Lincoln for $150 so I bought that and set it up downstairs and joined the 2 O's once again and they had their little tiffs for about a week and are now best of buds.
I suggest getting a larger tank (75 gallon at least) for the O if you are going to keep the other cichlids that are in the tank with him. If you are going to get rid of the other 2 cichlids then the 55 will do. You probably will have to do 2 50% waterchanges a week though to keep the nitrates in check.
In my opinion Oscars are not aggressive they are just very territorial.
Good luck with your O, I hope he comes out of his slump.
Turn the lights off on the tank and let him be for a while, he should come out of it.
*** Make sure to check your water params that could have something to do with the way he is acting right now!! ***
