I think my RTC just set a new record for what can be swallowed

My 2.75" RTC made his first kill the other day. a 3.5" Silver Aro...atleast that's the only one who could have done it....since I didn't find a carpet surfers body..

They are true gluttons....NOTHING is really safe in a tank with an RTC.

What about another RTC of a similar size?
Would they have a death match to see who can swallow who first?

Ha, no they are fine with other big cats of same size..even that becomes questionable sometimes.

my 17" rtc tried eating a 7" Oscar and 6'' white crappie and killed them both in the process, then attempted to eat a my 5 year old 13'' clown knife, beat him up bad but hes starting to recover

sorry to hear about that....my TSN ate everything in my tank as well irredesccent shark , Silver ARO and 2 parrots. Gave up on keeping Cats like that
