So youre saying these fish pictured are a docile species and that even the "aggressive" ones like micros and maurulia only mess with stuff they can eat? Cool! Didint know that. I thought they killed anything in sight!
I found these pictures going through links from my local fish club to other clubs and other websites. I dont know whos they are. They were just in with a bunch of pictures in a gallery kind of like ours.
The aggresiveness of any individual fish does vary, even of the same species. I have seen some Micropeltes act pretty aggresive to larger fish but nothing like a large Cichlid. Most Channa species I have experiance with can be pretty aggresive with others in the same species but when it comes to similar sized tankmates there isn't much to worry about. I never found any dwarf species to be aggresive.
I hope your severum does not go where the channa is resting because they do not like visitors. I think the media made snakehead looked like the devil fish and instill the image of a channa micro into the public eyes anytime somebody hear of the word "Snakehead".
