Z I know how you must feel and I'm sorry.
Believe me I know from experience, only this was not my fault, an 88 years old man made a U turn in my left front side, pushed us over a 7" high curve with 45 miles/hour. Yours can be saved but I had to say good bey to my baby, totaled
Hans
i feel the pain. I was in a parking lot i was unfamiliar with, in my mint '89 chevy beretta(i know your all jealous) and as i was pulling out i miss judged how far out i was and turned to early and dent up the front left of the car and peeled back part of the wheel well. not as bad as yours in retrospect but im not exactly car savy with bodywork etc and can fix it on my own nor have the money to get it fixed/painted again.
Damn, that Cavalier powned your Corvette. Ya, like theirs this slow motion time right before you crash and it's all wierd where everything you did to the car flashes throught your mind. And when it was all over, it's like, "that just happened"... DAMN IT. &%$#*^ @*$*%#I(*)&%(^@(^$^*%#. Ya, thats what I was saying.
I payed 2000 for the car(1000 for the car, another 1000 to get it working/safety)
Then I put this into the car.
Shocks and Struts: 700$(shipping and crap)
Cold Air Intake: 200$
Strut bars: 100$
Cd/mp3 player: 200$
Sub boxes and subs: 400$ (I whent thought alot figuring out the ones I liked)
Amplifier: 300$
Paint: 400$
And all that armor all and oil changes. I spent alot of time on that car. I know some things are transfrable but they are already in the car and shouldn't come out.
I know how you must feel buddy and the $hitties of all is you can only blame yourself.
I will not bother you with my numbers but all oils, etc was just changed in that car, $650 incl. new belt. Not to forget just filled the tank
I was just minding my own business when he crashed into my car, than the discussion starts with the insurance, man I would hate myself when I had that job.
It's almost a month ago, I'm going 3x a week to therapy for my back.
Must say I didn't think about what we put in the car, I only saw that big pole coming closer and closer
