i got a huge w/d alrady.. what eles do i need?

i want
BB grouper
triggers
the E.T. looking puffer

do i need heat?

Guess all this is going to depend on what you want to keep in there? Just the fish you listed? Any liverock? I would think up in NY you would need a heater, I need them here in TX sometimes in the winter.

so these fish are tropical :(...

i have a w/d with plenty of pot scrubbers... im gunna get 600gph threw it

i was think i would need about 50-100 pounds of L.R.

any thing eles?

Make sure you keep those pot scrubbers and the W/D very clean.. They are alot of maintenance in a SW setup, and if the detritus gets bad they can cause a nitrate explosion and crash your tank real quick.

Good luck with the grouper/trig/puffer combo!! I have seen similiar ones before, but they were all MONSTERs in a MONSTER tank.. I dont know how the Trig will act in a smaller setup, might take out some eyeballs! Make sure you do your research and get the smaller peaceful species..

long time no talk miles.... maybe we can chat on aim about this

I would not do any Eel if you want a grouper. They are known to eat eels. If you can forget the grouper then I'd stick with a smaller eel in a 75.

Snowflakes are common, but nice eels for the money and still get several feet. Trust me when he starts moving your Live Rock, chasing your other $80 fish around, and diging up your substrate thats all the eel you'll want.

Zebra's are nice docile eels to but they get pretty fat "bulky" and tend to hide more and be a lil clumbsy.

For the money and the personality I'd say go SFE. I did and I love him, he tears into food on a stick and when he's in eating mode he goes after everyone in the tank.

Here's a pic.

protein skimmer and yes a heater most sw aquariums is kept about 76 degrees:thumbsup:
