been wanting one for awhile,,, cant ever find em around here anyone know full info on them???max size, feeding req, tank size, agressiveness, i have an empty 55gal right now trying to find somthing to occupy it will upgrade when the time is needed

trimacs get to large for 55's, a 75 would be minimum, they are aggresive, and unfortuantly it has been getting harder to find true trimacs, most are now lower grade flower horns, and feeding is the same as any other large cichlid, if you can upgrade than get a smaller one and upgrade later
heres a pic of my lil guy i just got today at 1inch sold to me as Ch.Trimaculatus but still debating on if its a FH or not hopefully its a true trimac been wanting one for years,,,,
can't tell at this size. I bought some that looked exactly like that but ended up being FH's. About another inch or two and you should be able to tell. Where did you buy it at?
i bought him at my lfs....in Washington State,,,Tacoma/Spanaway area, a little fish shop called (Fish and Pets)
they usually do have good rare variety of fish that i never see at Chain Pet stores like petco and such
female trimac before and after pic. about 5 or 6 month difference i wanna say. shes growing a lot faster now that i have her in a 240. but my grammode half her size puts her in her place.
