then why do it? and why would you put a potentially large fish in a 10gal? trout are weak fish and its just impossible to keep one alive in a 10. just cant be dome IMO.

We raise brook trout (cold water) from egg to fry to about 3 inches and release them in the wild through a program for a sixth grade class. Trout are very fun to raise!!! nd yes they are very sensitive, temperature more than anything.
I think u should try a pair of bolivian rams with some type of armor cat fish. the rams are easy to sex and breed pretty easy also have great colors. they are semi aggresive
