I had a green pike ( thats what they called it at the lfs) and it was pretty good about tank mates. It was about 7 inches and I had it in there with a 12 inch clown knife, 2 6inch tiger oscars, 1 5inch royal pleco, 6 inch red tail catfish, and a 1 foot tiger shovelnose.
