I WANT A ROPEFISH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All. I really want a rope fish(s). I have a 80 gallon bow front tank. It is home to community fish. Well I want to know how big will my communtiy tank fish have to be to not get swallowed by the rope fish? These fish are labled "peacefull" on live aquaria and in petshops. I want a ROPE FISH
Can a pair be good??

anything 2 big 4 them swallow will b ok they r peaceful and do well with 2 or more i got 4 n my tank and i may get more id say get 3 or more but thats jus me

sorry i didnt read that good community fish dont have 2 b that big my biggest rope is like 13-14" and the biggest they have 8 is a really small goldfish but mostly minnows but mine r pretty sorry hunters so i rarely give them live feeders id say if u feed worms and other non live meat they may leave ur small fish alone but thats not 4sure because every fish is different how big r ur fish? and how big of a rope r u gonna get?

the biggest captive rope ive seen was 18 inches.
at that size it could only eat a 2-3 inch long goldfish.
and not the fat,round ones.

3 gouramis, 4 Hexazon Barbs, 2 fish that have a light color on top of thier back. One has a blue color and the other has a pink color, almost see through. Thats it in that tank and they are all about 3in. so far.

Thanks for the info. I'm heading to a few petstores and exotic fish stores for rope fish and I will try to get the smallest ones I see.

Does this mean a pair or a trio can fit comfortably i this tank?

dont get the smallest they grow super slow get the biggest and n a 80gal u can get as many as u want
