I want a turtle that can be kept with cichlids.

None. All fully aquatic and basking aquatic turtles are piscavores and will eventually harm, kill, and eat your cichlids.

The rule of thumb with turtles is to not keep them with anything you'd hate losing.

You could always go with a plastic turtle. No food, no extra water changes....just don't get the Chinese ones pumped full of lead.

I do not recommend having turtles with fish....

Fly River Turtle will still eat your fish, or take chunks out of them.

Get one of those wind-up turtle toys.

Disagree mate I have one in a community and I know of several others kept the same way. The only time they dispay any agression is to other FRT

this is proably the luckiest tank ive seen

but it had big cichlids like devils and jags and some festae and also had some snake neck turtles

you could try this because three both mean as hell
