I want one of these! Short Tail Nurse Shark

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Short Tailed Nurse Sharks - average about 24" long, and max out about 30" long. You could keep a pair (1 m,1 f) in a 6-foot diameter pond (420 gallon) as a minimum.

As for tank mates that could be pairing with the Short tailed Nurse sharks
- Zebra Eel
- Coral Catsharks
- Bamboo Sharks
- Epaulette Sharks
- Round Stingrays (like Cortez or Yellow)

Note - I am not suggesting all of these be kept with Short tailed Nurse at the same time. Just options for a larger system such as a 750-1,000-gallon system.

i've been absent from this forum, but I just realized that a 6' diameter pond is almost but not quite the same as those rubbermaid 300 gallon stock tanks...and those tanks are relatively cheap...decisions decisions...
