I WANT ONE TOO!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
anyone know a nice river or lake around the los angeles area i can go to hunt me some wood? lol i dont really wanna buy one and the ones im looking for are the huge thick ones or other pieces like tree stumps and etc.

I have a large, very heavy piece of manzanita... It leached tannins in my water like crazy! I let it sit for months, and it still will release tannins.

I took it out of the tank it was is, and moved all the fish to a larger tank.. I did however transfer water over from the other tank.. more than a year later, the water is still yellowish and I do water changes every day. lol.

And the driftwood is not even in the tank.

Interested in getting rid of the piece? :naughty:

too bad you weren't closer, i'd give them to you, i have 2 big, awesome looking peices, with natural holes and stuff in them. both are atleast 3' long

I got mine from: http://www.thedriftwoodstore.com/

Best selection I've found, great service, and they also sell some pretty cool rocks/stones as well.

ohh those are actually nice! if i cant find any i like i think i might get one from there if they have a good size that i like. thanks! :D

mmm dammit =/ meet me half way? LOL

also recommend manzman, can't beat his quality/price. Took around 2 weeks for my largest piece to sink. The smaller piece isnt releasing anymore tannins and the larger piece is only releasing trace amounts.

ya i know ive seens manzman stuff theyre nice but what im looking for are the big thick ones :)

looking for one much thicker but dam thats a nice piece there! i woulda trimmed some of those branches though.
