I want somthing like a Caiman

i have a 3ft caiman and i have him in a 12'x6' tank and it still seems small....

i was under the impression that the caiman needed double its length in water and on land...
and just i was typing this i realized that that means a 5 ft caiman needs like a 20x20 ft area

with a 75 you could do some lizard species...
