ok guy i want to build a 10 of 10galon water flow so i can put my flowerhorn quality fish .. i really want to build the water flow like at the LFS but not too big cause i want to put it in my bed room .. like a shell so i can stack 10 of 10galon then do a water flow like at the store, wa do i need ? any idea .I think i see one of the thread here some guy are doing it in the garage would it save me electric and water bill? or i could go buy me 10 of the 10 gallon and put on top of each other so far i had 2 of 55 galon in my room and 2 of 20gallon of FH fry

Sorry, your post isn't very clear...
Are you talking about a central filter system or flowing one tank into the other and finally into a filter and back to the first tank?
What are you going to use for grow out tanks or do you have a pond?

hmmmmmm.. i want to set up like at the fish store but the tank a lil bit smaller like 10 of the small 10 gallon , water suck out to the filter then flow back in the 10 tank at the same time (you kow how the fish store set up)
i wish my english a lil bit better to explain.... because if im going to the store buying 10 tank then i need 10 of the filter system and also all that plugging ,i want to do the filter for 10 tank at once because im planning built like a shell and put that ten tank up then put all my quality fry FH.. thank you to all the moterator take your time to reading this

where you'll have a top one that has water flow out into a slightly lower one
and that one has water flow out into a slightly lower one... so on and so forth until it reaches the final tank and from that last tank flows into a filter system?

Most fish stores I've seen use either a non-cascading central filtration system (did that make sense?) or individual air lift systems in each tank. I'd be wary of a cascading style with that many tanks, whatever's in that last tank gets nine tanks worth of poo dumped on them.

and associated tubing or pipe, I would suggest a 50 gallon W/D minimum since you have dirty fish. 5x turnover so 700-800gph return pump.

Have you considered sponge filters with powerheads?
Ask your lfs if they can show you their filter system, try and do this at their convenience.
