i want to build a 600 gallon tank.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
27lbs per square foot so 27x30= 810lbs each
if you made it 10'x3'x3' it will weigh close to 3000lbs
your going to need some help

I think the glass for the front window on a few monster plywood or concrete tanks is the best idea

Is anyone grasping that this is TWO inches thick... stress from the water will not be a factor. Does SeaWorld know this is missing?! Seriously where did it come from?
If you want to do an all glass tank, use the adhesive that's used for the skyscraper windows, and I take it your house has a concrete floor.

Pictures of the process man!!!

i went to check it my glass today, turns out the panels are only 1/2 thick glass.
damn damn damn.
there goes my dream of having a gang of mantis shrimp tank... petting zoo.

please close the thread mods. i'm gonna aim for a 900 gallon glass\plywood tank now.
120x48x36!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...tell me more about this skyscraper adhesive

Dow Corning 995. WWW.Dowcorning.com It was quoted being used in a very, very large aquaruim build, just can't find the article yet ( I read to much or remember to little ).
