i want to buy BGKF But....

i want to buy a pair of bgkf but i have heard many times in internet that only 1 bgkf should be hosed in a small tank

tank size 3 1 1
fish size 2-4 inch


so should i buy single or a pair

and one more thing

basic requirements
 
if u only have a 3 gal and 2 1gals dont bother. bgkf get 20 inches long and can be awfully mean in small tanks, and u cant even safely put a heater on that small of tank.
if im mistaken about the tank size just let me know. it just looks like 3gal 1gal 1gal to me.

i wouldn't add one to anything smaller than a 120 (maybe a 90) and still only one.
 
yeah it sounds more like 3ftx1ftx1ft, even then its not big enough though
 
I think that size is on the small side as well.
 
Yes u can put a small one in there... I should be fine for a year.. or may be more...

What are the stock list for the tank...?
 
I agree, a small bgk should be ok in there for a year, but with my best opinion a 75 gallon tank should be great for a full grown one.

The tank you have as measured is a 22 gallon there about.
 
well my aquarium is divided is one third part i.e one part is only for bgkf pair and the other is for oscar pair /albinocatfish/firemouth
 
Should be fine for awhile. Just becareful with territories. BGK are pretty territorial.
