Get a Grey Hound. Barely Shed. Very Quiet. Just watch out, they might steal your seat on the couch!

thats funny my dog will streatch all 4 legs out to try to push me off the couch..

You can still have a clean house and a dog. It just takes work.

^ I agree with this. Both of my dog's are rescues. There are also many breed rescues out there if you are looking for a certain breed.

thats so funny rescuing a greyhound is actually on top of my list!

though ive never adopted or rescued before...

how does the process work? how much are fees usually?

are there any greyhound rescue in southern califiornia?

the one thing to remember with a grayhound is it can never be loose... you need to really be careful because if they see something running they would chase it.. i think they may require a fenced yard but not sure... they are beautiful and elegant and very clean...

i really want a dog but im a CLEAN FREAK!

the only thing thats really stopping me is hair on floors and short pin type hair sticking out on fabrics are the worst.

ive always had outdoor dogs at my parent's which is a house. now that i live in a apartment the dog has to be inside...so does its hair! hahaha

i was wondering if you guys have successfully kept dogs and still keeping it squeaky clean...:D

the only answer to that is to not get a dog! im a massive clean freak and right now what i've been doing is cleaning up after my pup where ever he goes, wiping his paws after he comes back after his walk he is NOT allowed on any furniture and all my clothes are in plastic overalls in the wardrobe!!!

Rescue a scruffy terrier of some sort. They don't shed. It's a little more money to take them to the groomers or you can do it yourself like I do. My dog currently is sporting a mowhwk :D
Once you get the dog you'll love them and then the cleaning won't be so bad. They are worth every second of it!

Greyhounds make fantastic pets! They do shed though. Make sure if you get one that they stay on leash at all times. They also have thin skin and can get cut easily. The last thing is to make sure you get a greyhound vet. They have some special needs when it comes to medications and anesthesia since they have such low body fat.
