I want to live in costa rica

I have been says crime isn't that bad, due to imigration laws its hard to get a job there.the crime rate is less than most of the us. petty crime is somewhat common pick pockets in the big cities, stealing your stuff off the beach, ect. 96% literacy. really good schools, and medical care. food is cheep. appts seem comparable to my area. Im looking to live in a smaller village or town. I could live happy far away from the "cities". I love fishing. but after mon, I caught so many I got board with it. that might be the first time in my life I,ve ever said that.

I vacationed in Costa Rica 3 times, in San Jose, and on the Pacific coast near Puerta de Quepos, and spent a spent few days in the mountains in a place called El Tirol. Fabulous country, nice restarants, with friendly people. They have a retirement program called pensionando, but the only real way to work is to start your own business, and hire some Tico's.
It is suggested to spend some vacation time in all seasons to get a real feel for living there.
