i have a 100 gallon that i want to turn into an amzon river bio type tank

the tank is well over filtered so that isnt a problem

i was maybe thinking a couple oscars and some silver dollars but im open to suggestions

blackwater set up?silver dollars, and angel fishes, fancy plecos, and a catfish from there would be great too.. but i wouldn't recommend it though, considering the tank size and the angel fish would be an easy meal.

drift wood, planted with amazon swords, and a school of angels. And if you can get them cheap maybe 50-75 cardinals. But the angels will eventually eat some of the cardinals. Or if you got some money do discus instead of angels. I would do angels though cause they are cheap.

I would go with driftwood, some floating, some sinking, alot of amazon swords, a sandy sub and go with a huge school of exodons, and maybe a really big tough royal pleco. That would be a fun amazon tank.

Use medium sized pebbles as substrate. Put a few big pieces of driftwood, and some amazon swords. Stock it with clown loaches... :)

YeY AreA!!!!!!!!:headbang2
Amazon biotope, hmmm.....Purchase a dozen wild Discus.....Throw in 4 dozen Cardinal Tetra.....Get school of cory cats to cover the bottom, possibly Panda Cory.....I'd start with a 180 or larger for a predatory biotope......For two Oscars to thrive in, I'd start off with a foot long tank(125g)..........
