I would like to know if anyone in the PA, MD, NJ, NY areas know of any good aquariums that i can take my daughter too. I would like to see saltwater fish as well as sharks, rays, seals, and if they have monster fish it would even be better. I looked up some online but i wanted to get feedback from anyone who has visited these aquariums

NOT the aquarium in coney island. for what little they have, it is nice IMO, but not worth it either. i was kind of dissapointed when i went with my son last year, as we were done with the entire place in an hour or so.

It's not on your list but I just spend today at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. All I can say is WOW!!! It is the worlds largest aquarium and does not dissappoint. (The aquarium in Japan has a viewing window that is one inch wider than the big one at the GA, but gallon wise Atlanta's is still the largest.)

Yea i went this past summer and i was dissappointed myself... That is why i dont mind driving 2 hrs or 3 hrs to a better aquarium as long as it is worth it.

Not only did I see it, I have some good video footage too. I don't have my camera's USB cable so it will have to wait till I get home. I've seen them in the wild, but I have to say that this one was more impressive.

I've been to the Baltimore aquarium countless times in my life and I always have a good time. Plus there's plenty else to do in the inner harbor area so its always a good day trip. They have dolphin shows that are pretty cool and your daughter would probably really enjoy and Aro's that you probably would :headbang2

I went to the GA Aquarium this summer and honestly was a little dissapointed. Yes the Ocean Voyager is awesome, but the rest is nothing special imho. If you happen to be passing by or in the area, then DEFINATELY check it out, but don't plan your entire vacation around it like I did.

The aquarium in Camden was recently upgraded. Its pretty nice. They have a really cool south american tank and plenty of sharks and rays. Was just there about a week ago.
