edit:congrats on having a son in 2 weeks

just remember this if that thing ever blows back on you

explosives and solvents are 2 things that that should never be toyed with in my books, while the risk may be ever so minute all it takes is one minute chance to change your life forever.

Ask any burn victim what they would give to not be a burn victim.

Now what of the younger person with you in that video, what if they decide to try this and they are not as experienced? What would you feel like if that were to happen.

edit :just rewatched to make sure I was not misjudging the age of the kid with you, just imagine how you would feel if he and his friends were playing with fire and it blew up on them. Just a word to wise.

btw my 10 year old son who is sitting here with me said "that kid is bad for playing with fire"

first, thanks for the congrats! im uber excited.
second, that kid is my neighbor. He hangs with me and promised not to do anything like that without me. He knows if i find out, he will not be able to come over and hang out with me. He quite enjoys that so im sure he will not.
third, lol on ur son. thats cute. Ur kids are awesome! congrats on having so many. bigger man than me. lol

fourth and final point.... I am a burn victim. I spent 2 days in the ICU(plus about 3 more days in the hospital) for severe facial and neck burns. I know to be careful and i know the outcome. So yeah, i def have experience and am very very careful

though I have to add this

when I was younger my fav thing to do at farm parties was to chuck aerosol cans and other things in the huge fire and run

so guess there is something to be said for the recklessness of youth

is this your first child, just wondering.

no laws against it here :) we can burn all we want. that does suck though. We actually were kinda worried about shotting .22s here, but the other day we shot alot here and thier was a cop sitting across the street running radar. He didnt even care! lol

YEP! our first one chef!! cant wait! :)

AH cool

If there are 2 things I could share with you to being a smoking dad.

1-Never try to relive your life through your child, but, rather see them as a brilliant individual possessed of their own unique and magnificent destiny. A destiny that you are blessed to be able help them fulfill.

2-Never stop being a big kid yourself, to many men in my books have grown old inside and do not seem to understand that kids are kids and just because they are disturbing the peace so to say, does not mean they are bad.

may the delivery of your baby go without complication and make sure to post up some pics of the little one when he arrives

thanks for the tips! Im gonna try my best to be a good dad!!
I will post plenty of pics when he is born!!
