Not the price, it's the principle...If someone broke into your house and only took the pillow you were sleeping on, would you simply go back to bed with no concern??? I doubt it. Who knows he will not find "what else" they took...Stealing is stealing...

Nobody is going to come onto this site and say for example: Today i got my transmission fixed at so and so's place. He didn't touch anything inside my car and he did a really good job. No. The only time people come on here and post is when they are venting because something made them mad. Im not saying what this guy did was right, but you can't classify a group of workers because someone came on here to "vent".
Now that i have left the aircraft field and will be working on school busses, im sure i will be getting juice quite often.

I would never consider going through a persons belongings in their vehicle while I am working on it. Look at your bill and it will say who it was - then complain to the service manager. Problem solved! It doesn't matter if it is $.50 or $50. Sealing is stealing and professionals do not tolerate a thief in their ranks! I was a Master Truck Tech for many years as well as a Master Auto Tech. Thieves are not tolerated when identified.
We had a lunch thief and we figured out who it was so we set him up with the blue-plate special. We put "never-seize" in the sandwich and gear lube in the drinks as well as in the liquid coffee creamer he claimed he never touched. He was sick for 3 days and never did it again!

This makes me like my mechanic a whole lot more. Although, my licorice rope ceiling dispenser was a running a little low last time i got my oil changed.....
