I weep for humanity...

Whoa !!!! No where in the show does the word "fat" occur. The mother describes herself as "voluptuous" My dictionary defines voluptuous differently.

Morbid curiousity draws people to watch weird, bizzare, gross, repulsive, disgusting, revolting things on TV. Many of us are fascinated by anything out of the ordinary or different from our lives....shows on dwarfs living their lives, shows on taboo things, shows on people with weird medical conditions, shows on morbidly obese people, boot camps for obese juveniles, conjoined twins, Amish, leaving Amish, Hutterites, big tanks, big bikes, big cats.....there's something for everyone on TV. And if we can't find anything to entertain us on TV, we can always browse MFK :)

Guess thats one way of putting it :)

True. But I still have the right to wish death on them

OK maybe not death lol

There is this cooking show that I sometimes watch where if a little butter and sugar are good, a lot more butter and sugar are better. The TV star's eyes cross when she tastes her concoctions. I watch the show in horror that anyone would even think of eating that stuff. I get the same nauseated feeling watching the show being discussed. I'm thinking maybe I like to feel ill and sick to my stomach. It's a horror show, but not in a scary way. That's it! I get the thrill of the horror, but not the scare!!! :) :)

I just cant believe TLC used to stand for The Learning Channel
