and had a great time all there tanks were clean. non were over stocked they had a nice selction of fish. this is prolly the first positive post about a lfs in a long time.

I had one of these days about a month ago (previously the tanks had blueish green algae mostly in the sw tanks but alot in the fw) This fellow that was working there is a member on here I think.

My lfs is crap they usually dead or going to die and then they ask me all sorts of questions like im stupid when i try and rescue some of the fish they have like the belly up ornate bichir they had it was still breathing but on its side it was 6" its now in my 96x30x30 2yrs on and its 18" it was a lucky one.

I wish I had one of those days!

well the pet shop that is nerest to me sucks all his fish are dieing so i go two towns over the owner is a ***** but the kid who works there is great and very helpfull.

Well, i only got 3 LFS near me. I'm located in canada, one is called Big Al's, one's petcetera which will compeletely terrify u! and one's Pj's Pets! and Big Al's got about 30 friggin baby arowana still witht here yolk sak dead floating on the top and never cleaning it! a few dead oscars and quite a bit of sick fish, they got HUGE selection but omg.. they have over 150 arowana, and all of them are just dying day after day! While all the other pet shop, u'll see them importing piranah's and oscars, but no one buys em and they dunno how to take care of them and u just see them die and no one fishes them out! OMG!

At the store I work at, if you talk to a manager, you'll get great, true advice. If they can't personally help with your question, they'll refer you to another employee who can, look it up, or tell you they don't know. They don't make crap up. Now, some of the part time high school/college kids who work there just don't know what they're talking about, but they generally don't last long...
