Back to the topic, while I do agree that it is true, a basic understanding of the filtration system does work, I also have to admit that not all that is logical on paper will pull through when actually practiced..(No pun intended)

The filtration is the "heart" of the tank, and these guys really do invest on them..
The tank I saw, by estimation, is about 5ft(Length) by 5ft(Height) by 3ft(Width) and it was lay to the corner of the room, joined by the TV rack etc etc..Very nicely done, the filtration however, was behind the wall, the first "compartment" is the same size as the tank, from there, it leads to a second "compartment" which is double the size of the tank, just longer by a foot or two, which leads to a third which is the same size as the second, could not see much as the second and third were blocked by a wall so I dont know if there are other "compartments" after and I also dont know hoe the water is returned to the main tank, but from what I saw, the media must have cost thousands of dollars and my god, just imagine the electic bill on that one, not to forget the food cost as well...the tank was really overstocked...

What a sight man, needless to say, the fish were in pretty good condition, given the circumstances..

The Japanese have really brought this hobby to a whole other level, I just wished the books came in English :wall: :evil_lol:
