its a mercedes benz CLK-GTR

1998-1999

that car is worth $1.5 mil US at that time

CLK GT-R's are hardly worth the cash though, i'll take a MKIV with 300k invested anyday and whoop his ass on the strip. not the circut of course though. lord knows 1500hp+ MK4's can't handle aswell as they can launch.
do you know the weight/weight ratio for, CLK GT-R's?

thats just like saying.. if you buy a 2008 Nissan GTR.. it way better than investing 200k on a lamborginni :P

The car is weight 1000kg / 2204.6lbs, it only produced 25 units.. and 0-60mph in 3.4 sec.. as fast as an Enzo

Engine V12, displacement cu in (cc): 365 (5987),power bhp (kW) at RPM: 600(4478) / 7000,torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM: 516(700) / 3700

as far as the limited production, its well worth the price...

GT-R's are brand new and to the best of my knowledge, there are not a whole lot if any amount of after market parts avalible for them yet. but being the fact that r32-r34 gt-r's/gt-s's/gtst's/N1's, etc were such a factor in japenese circut and import scenes than the new gtr's should rise fast in terms of AM parts, but i wouldn't buy one for a few years until they have started major develpment on those parts. after that happens, buying one and investing in parts would easily kill lambo's. but unfortunatly the new gt-r's already come with a very high sticker price, meaning the import scene for people with more limited price ranges won't sprout as much as nissan would like. you'll only get wealthy buyers, many with to little time or to many cars to give them any amount of serious care. R35's- failing enterprise for normal import enthusists.- my 2 cents on the new Gt-R's.

this is what your GT-r buyers will look like, note this pic came from a thread where the owner (pictured already posted his nismo Z-Tune GT-R ($170,000+) and his F430 Ferrari (230,000ish)

and FYI and IMO- new GT-R are MASSIVE cars, look at the rear ends and total size, besides being dead ugly (R33's- pure sex)

but the stock car is gonna be like $70-80k, its just going to be an average vehicle, maybe some street race and such.. If get busted or total the car, can always get another one :D or maybe a third one.. :D so you wont be out of cars if some thing happen to it xD

well, its really matter, if you have a limited pocket, and the laws is getting stricter and stricter around here.. A fully invested super car.. will just going end up in the pound.. Why spend 200k to just see your favorite car in the pound, rather than buy a few for backups, if one is gone.. you still got another one :D

Unless im that guy in the picture.. when cash is like pocket change.. then I dont mind at all, can just go slap the cop's face and take off

just like this thread "I WISH I WAS THAT GUY" xD but im not xD have to play out my investment carefully ^^
