Lol...I'll trade you a Lincoln Navigator for it.

yeah some company tried to contact my hubby and they were scammers too out of new york. when they start pumping you for personal info they sell it, or use it to steal your identity... good times.

if i were you i would have told her you are reporting them to the BBB. my hubby actually DID report the scammers that contacted him.

since i work in psych i probably would have played it off like i was a paranoid schizophrenic and that the voices in my head are telling me she is FBI or CIA-then i would go on to say i have been off my bi weekly haldol deconate shots and meds for A VERY LONG TIME (LOL) and that it sounds like she needs a friend (ME! lol)...

good times...

im glad you didnt fall sucker to that scam bobby..

The navigator travel thing isn't an identity theft ring it's the old school time-share being resurrected. They basically give you a free vacation to the time share they are selling. The vacations are horrid and the sales pitch doesn't stop. Every so often they make sure one or two couples have this great time for the purpose of good PR. They don't' get shut down because while they are shady taking advantage of stupid people and wasting someones time are not illegal.

I'm shocked that they still try these but then again people fall for the old 419 (Nigerian) scam, all the time.
