Save your money and just use salt. Turn the temp up (the parasites will die faster) then add like 2-3 tsp per gallon of aquarium or rock salt (the parasites can't breed in salt). Just remember that salt doesn't evaporate, so don't redose without water changes. Might take a few weeks for it too all clear up, but this is much milder than any chemical.

you are correct, salt does not evaporate but doing water changes will remove salt with the water so you have to re-dose the salt according to the amount of water removed.

back on topic....listen to pharaoh, temps about 85, 1 tbsp salt/5gal. it will look worse before it looks better so just be patient. just keep it clean and up the aeration, warmer water has a lower oxygen carrying capacity.

Ok ill back it down a bit. They seem happy. Ill do that. I got three air stones running the fish are all bathing in them gloriously lol

They are still stressing a little bit (although the spores have fallen from the fish) the temp is at 84 and one tablespoon per 5 gallons. And I am still doing 50% water changes every day with a gravel vacuum.And of course adding the salt back that I take out during the water changes.
