if i use some medication for the fish like aquadine, is it good for my fish?
coz somebody said medication like that will give effect to the fish in the future..
please give me some advise as i'm planning ti use it to quarantine the feeder..
i'm afraid it will effect to my fish if it is poisonous..

If your fish is "flashing," regardless if you see white spots or not, odds are it's an external parasite.
I would treat with quinine personally.

Raising the water temperature doesn’t actually shorten the life span of the Ich parasite, it accelerates it. So, make sure that you treat the tank properly or it could get worse. Also, when you think you’ve completed the treatment and don’t see the Ich on the fish, do one more cycle for good measure. Ich will also take residence in the gills so, one more cycle for good measure is recommended. When you are done with this (if you’re using medication) , conduct a good water change and use carbon to remove the meds. If you ever decide to do the salt method, carbon will not remove the salt. Only periodic water changes will slowly remove the salt levels.

thanks guys..
really appreciate your advice...

I have never heard of channa getting ich(whitespot). It is probablly something else. I would not use medications unless you have visual evidence of a parasite. I would ensure my water parameters are suitable (nitrites and ammonia at zero), real plants will help with this rather than large water changes. Also raising the temp will likely cause a bacterial infection which will probablly harm the bleheri further. I use indian almond leaves and real plants, I do a 15-20% water change every 3-4 month and this works for me.
Hope things improve for your fish.
