  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah.. and it's very common for puffers, angels and triggers to pick at the shark's fins, leaving sometimes severe wounds.

Water is perfect no nitrate no nitrite no ammonia.

I do water changes about every other day due to the high load level of the tank

It is a 65 gallon tank with an emporer canister filter on it.

It has a 3.5" minniatus grouper
a 12" Marbled Cat shark
and a 3" Stars and Stripe puffer.

if those water params are true, than your tank is not cycled. a cycled tank in most cases will always have nitrates present.

DO NOT use copper on any tank which has a shark in it.
i advise you to rehome your coral cat as soon as you can, the 65 gallon is going to kill it.
also, the puffer is a terrible tankmate for the shark. what are the dimensions of your tank?

Alco is right. Copper (in any form) + sharks & rays = death. Some idiot at a local aquarium (Moody Gardens @ Galveston Island) dosed their shark system with copper and killed 17 sharks in 48hrs.
