pike was probably stressed from shipping, being in the store, comin to your tank, etc. whereas the pleco has had a stable environment and is less succeptible to parasites/diseases. i say keep on with the treatment and feed him well should clear up in a few days.

I too like Quick Cure and salt and raing my temp. I also take out my carbon. If it's still there in a week, do a water change and repeat the meds.

ok he is fine now. He is huge! around 5" and eating happily
