So my giraffe (center or in this case the one to the right) has some spots scattered all over its body. Kind of like ick but except they're not white and the coloration is more brown, almost like the giraffes skin pigment. All the fishes behavior are not the same either, but none of them have what the giraffe has. Any ideas or thoughts, and or tips? I am doing a water check right now so any helpful comments would be appreciated. Like always, thanks for your time.

Tank isn't cycled yet. Keep an eye on ur water.

Can u get a real close up of the fish. Look like eggs or parasite or something. Can't tell when in I enlarge the pics on my phone.

Any new fish?

Yea i am keeping eye on water. I presumed parasite but none of the other fishes have it. I can try to get closer image. No new fishes were added.

Try to enlarge it on a computer, can see it better. I can't see it on my phone either.

Why do you think its not the start of ick? The spots I see could very well be.
And if, as someone pointed out, your tank is not yet cycled, I would think the stress of ammonia and nitrite buildup could easily bring out any pathogen lurking around, including ick.

Like i said, true it is not yet cycled. But i did a water check already.

Would be appreciative if I can find out what the disease is rather then having my water quality ridiculed.

Here is what is recommended to be posted here when you have a fish health issue. Without this, most people are left to guess with large amounts of clues left out.

My guess is this fish is new. My second guess is that it wasn't put in quarantine. My third guess is the tank has ammonia. Since I guessed those 3 things, my next guess is that it has either ich or both ich and some skin irritation from the water not being cycled, from flashing or something else that's in your tank.

Those are guesses.

These are things that would be nice to know:

1) when was the tank set up?
2) How large is the tank?
3) What else is in the tank? When did they get added to the tank?
4) How long have you had the giraffe?
5) Was the giraffe quarantined? How long?
6) Does the giraffe have any unusual behavior? When did it start?
7) Do the other fish have any unusual behaviors? Which ones? How many? When did they start?
8) When did you see the spots?
9) When did you see the other discolorations?
