I just treated mine for ick... 87degrees and 3 tablespoons salt per 5 gal. Quickest fix I've had

CL are notorious for ich. +1 for salt and warm water.

Knifes and loaches are imo the most succeptable to nasty ick. Ive never had a prob w/ weekly water changes and vac!

This is day 3 of herbtana treatment and no sign of improvement any ideas it looks like it got worse. The loaches still eat thou.

Herbtana? Never used it before.

Salt, warm water and daily gravel vacs is what you should be doing, as recommended above.

Ok salt starts today water is at 86 won't go any higher because my tigrinus needs lot of air and heat lowers oxygen in the water. Also have uv sterilizer showing up tomorrow to go on the tank.

At 87 the life cycle of ick should be 5days or less.
