Why is turning light on a necessity? It only adds up stress to your fish.

How did you know your fish are unable to tolerate another set of salt?

dont want to risk putting in any more salt becuase i have payaras and plants in the tank and if the lights are off my barracuda will be half asleep and wont eat his food friday if lights are off that day i can keep them off until then i just see no progress with the salt treatment with just salt and heat but will it be okay to mix a small dose of mardel cletted cooper be fine with the salt otherone said to use salt to kill hatchlings and the cooper stuff to knock out adult ick i just want to make sure i can mix the two will i be able to?

Yes, you can mix copper just fine. Your fish will be better off with lights off and not eating for even just one day.

never used them. only had ich couple times in different tanks and every time I just turn the temperature to 86F or a little above it (87-88F) for 2 weeks and ich is gone like magic. didn't even use salt. (does hurt to use it tho, I just don't want my plants to die)

Cudamaster, please post the ingredients of kordon med.

And Vitta, why are you advising him to lower the temp?
