just calm down it has only been a few since you posted..
slowly raise the temp to 85*f or higher and add 1 table spoon per every 5 gallons of water and continue to do this for 2-3 weeks also remember salt doesnt evaporate so only add salt after a water change and only add what you removed...
if it is really bad you can add 1 table spoon per every 2.5 gals depending on the fish in the tank...

Right now i have 4 black shirt tetras and a crap ton of plant all in a 20gal what happens if all the fish dies.

then all the fish die... and then your plants and BB in the filters loose their food source which in tern kills them...
since you have plants in the tank I would recommend treating with the 1 tbs per 5 gals of salt but if you dont want to treat with salt just follow the directions on the bottle of medicine, is isnt that bad but it does need to be treated even just raising the temp to 85*F or higher 86-87 being better will help...

what do i do when theres no fish do like 2-3 water changes then after about a week can i go get some fish
Ich really isnt as deadly as most think... I usually dont even use salt just raise the temp. But I havent had ich in a long time. As long as your fish aren't covered like the oscars at walmart then you should be ok. It really is a very easy thing to treat. Don't fret you should be fine. I hope your tank is cycled.
