ID? Amphilophus something or hybrid??

Just picked this up at the LFS, they came in as Flowerhorns, but the shape and thick lips made me think Amphilophus. In the LFS tank they were considerably darker with faint hints of orange on their sides and the colour under the gills and pectoral fins looking more of a peach colour. In my tank its lightened up considerably and the peach colour has turned pink, so maybe they are just a flowerhorn-type hybrid that are shaped more like a red devil than the usual FH shape...

Thoughts?

it's a red devil/midas mix most probably. not a flowerhorn.

Definitely a lot of amp in it, but almost impossible to narrow it down looking at it.

definitely not red isletas. i have one and he never looked like that.

To me it looks like a labiatus/citrinellus and lyonsi hybrid.

That sounds like an interesting mix, even if it only it looked half as good as the fish in your avatar I'd be happy.
